The 7 Days exclusive Uganda birding safari visit trip takes you birding through Uganda’s hot spot for birding in Entebbe Environments, Mabamba Wetlands, Lake Mburo National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This birding safari visit is for all classes of birders that is to state twichers, youthful, old, students and during this birding safari visit, you will be driven by a birding instructor with differed experience and knowledge of other wild life. You will bird through different bird habitats; wetlands, savanna grasslands, rivers and lakes, forests finding hundreds of birds as you discover the birding paradise of Africa – Uganda.
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive for our 7 Days exclusive birding safari visit at Entebbe International Airport and exchange to your separate lodging of Accommodation. BB.
Day 2: Birding Entebbe
Entire day birding safari visit around Entebbe area, i.e the Botanical Gardens and Uganda Wildlife Education Center, while here we pay special mind to the Superb Sun, Olive, Olive Bellied, Green Throated and Collard sun-bird, Orange, Slender Billed, Black Headed, Yellow Backed and Golden Backed weaver, Klaas’ and Diederik Cuckoo, Ashy Flycatcher, Green Crombec, Gabor Goshawk, Lizzard Buzzard, on fortunate days the Bat Hawk can be seen whenever flying over, Palm Nut Vulture, Ross’ and Great Blue Turaco, Gray Woodpecker and significantly more. Day 3: Birding safari visit To Mabamba
Morning drive to Mabamba swamp for the Shoe bill Stork and other water birds like the African and Lesser Jacana, Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Yellow Billed Duck, Purple and basic Squacco Heron, Northern Brown Throated Weaver, Malachite Kingfisher, after which we go to Lake Mburo National Park, Lunch at the equator relying upon the time we get out of the Swamp, birding safari visit enroute there are extraordinary and fascinating stop over focuses like the Kaaku swamp which is extremely prominent for the Rufous-bellied Heron, Lesser Jacana and Moorhen and an assortment of water feathered creatures. Dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia Cottages or Rwonyo Rest Camp. FB.
Day 4: Birding safari visit to Lake Mburo
Morning birding safari visit and game viewing, day bird to the grassland for the Brown-chested Plover (a migrant from Western Africa to Northern Tanzania and at times crosses to this place between June and December), Coqui and Crested Francolin, Red-confronted Barbet, Red Headed Weaver here we will have the opportunity to see the Zebra, Eland, Topis, Impalas among others. In the afternoon, you go for a remarkable boat ride in search for the African Fin-foot. Retire and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight Hotel in Mbarara. FB.
Day 5: Birding safari visit To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP, arriving for an afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel where we get close to big schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, water birds like the African Spoonbill, African skimmer (seasonal) and many others. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge, Kingfisher Kichwamba Lodge or Mweya Hostels for two nights. FB.
Day 6: Birding safaris visit in Uganda Queen Elizabeth
Entire day birding in scan for Savanna birds like the Temminck’s Courser, Martial Eagle, Rupell’s Griffon, White Headed, Lappet Faced Vultures, Harlequin Quail, Blue Quail, Small (Common) Buttonquail, African Crake, Martial Eagle, African Skimmer, Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl, Black Headed Gonolek, Amur Falcon, Ovambo Sparrow hawk, Lowland Akalat, Greater and Lesser Flamingo and Temminck’s Courser. Mammals here include the African Elephant, Spotted Hyena, Leopard, Lion and numerous others. You also undertake an afternoon bird watching along the Crater Lake area of Queen Elizabeth national park before you return to your favorite lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 7: Birding safari visit To Kampala and Departure
After an impressive, breakfast drive back to Entebbe for your Flight, end of our straightforward birding safari visit in Uganda.
